Here are a couple of paintings by Conchita Carambano. We love her use of colour and bold shapes. Her work has to be seen in the flesh to appreciate the textures and the layering of mediums. We are able to organise private viewings of her latest works.

Colourful bedrooms #2
Here is a great room for a young boy. The inspiration for the wall and bedhead colour came from the original artwork. PHI supplied the bedhead and bedskirt and the pillowcases are Missoni from Spence & Lyda
This room is clearly for a young girl, but the design of the flocked wallpaper should be appropriate for years. The background of the paper is a beautiful warm silver which is picked up in the cushions. While we supplied the wallpaper and bedhead fabric, the client had a clear vision from the start.
Colourful bedroom #1
I came across this image and had to share it. It is a playful, light and colourful room which looks like it could be that of a teenagers, but I'd be happy to rest my head here. The addition of the graphic bench in black and white helps the scheme from becoming too considered. The bedhead is fantastic!!

Gorgeous Georgias!
We will have 2 gorgeous Arthur G 'Georgia' chairs sitting proudly in our front window from late today! One as above in a striking black & white stripe and the other in a fabulous yellow.
Each is available to purchase off the floor - hurry in and don't miss out!
The previous Arthur G chair we had in the window - the 'Benson' in the amazing blue cowhide went fast!

Hedgehog - before & after.......
Creative Cottage
Here is a home that is the result of a talented architect and trusting client. I admire the work of Matt Elkan which is modern yet somehow familiar. This small house is still small, but it feels grand with large expanses of glass showcasing the views. I had the pleasure of working with Matt and his client, helping with the soft furnishings and window treatments. You can see more of Matt's work at www.simonwhitbread.com.au which is a fantastic site showcasing architectural photography by Simon.
Black & White
Recently I was talking to a lady in our showroom who loved our displays. She kindly pointed out that a lot of them are black and white (which is the reason she likes them so much). I got to thinking & I have to agree - but I don't apologise for this! I love black and white which works well in most situations whether it's formal, informal, beachside or urban. It can be teamed with a splash of bright colour accents and it works brilliantly with timber. I love the graphic nature of the 2 colours together in a fabric and of course the drama it can create. Above are a few ideas and images of interiors that are inspiring. With this said, our next display will be a riot of colour - with some black of course!!
